During the July 2011 Arkansas Press Association SuperConvention, Frank Fellone of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette approached Mary Hightower of Arkansas Press Women about somehow marking the 20-year anniversary of the end of the newspaper war.
The idea was to encourage discussion by journalists and others whose lives and work were affected by the end of the war. No victory dances. No self-pity. Just honest, articulate opinions.
